The Good Behaviours play contemporary folk wrapped in old time banjo. Celebrated jazz musician and composer Nick Henderson has a new found passion in clawhammer banjo, and has combined with respected heavyweights to bring you the goods!
Nick is joined by festival favourites Chris Stone (fiddle) and Holly Downes (double bass) of The String Contingent and Emily-Rose Sarkova (accordion) of Chaika. Completing the picture is Felix Lalanne (guitar), finalist of the Montreux jazz guitar competition. Together they make a veritable supergroup spanning the Australian Folk and Jazz scenes.
Inspired by his border collie Miles, and the banks of the Hawkesbury River (Dyarubbin) where he grew up, Nick’s compositions are described as chamber-folk-meets-post-rock. The band will be releasing their debut album of all original music entitled ‘Home’ later this year.
These musos are as well trained and good looking as a prize winning pooch, so prick up your ears and get ready for a show stopper.
